More than 32 years of water industry experience in asset management, operations, maintenance, and water quality. This includes more than 12 years in managing Research and Development. Current programs include research on corrosion in concrete sewers, assessing the condition of critical water mains and biosolids management. Recent achievements include providing leadership to develop collaborative water industry led research projects with universities, consultants and technology providers. The water industry representative for the $16M advanced condition assessment and failure prediction international research project. Member of the Steering Committee for the $20M ARC Linkage Project on Corrosion and Odour in Concrete Sewer Systems. Currently manages, the R&D partnership with Sydney Water’s Water Filtration Plant Build Own Operators. Former Program Leader Distribution Systems for the Cooperative Research Centre for Water Quality and Treatment and program leader Asset Management improvement programs for gravity systems for Water Services Association of Australia.
